and he were to ask,
where would i choose to be,
my answer would be swiftly given.

If he were to ask,
how long would i want these things,
my qusetion would be swiftly asked,
Oh lord, how long is eternity?
If he were to ask,
why i asked such ah question,
my answer would be swiftly given,
Oh lord, for that is how long i vowed my love to her!
